I stake my pride on Basil not eating that one weird piece of jelly donut on Beaubien.

What is that in your mouth?

Basil eats extremely gross shit, constantly. And Street's feelings seem to get hurt really easy. Like you tell him to move over on the couch and he goes into a downward spiral of despair.

Whine.

They are being a little bit of sucky babies in the last 24 hours.



Right after this video, I took them for a walk. Hopefully this will end the tantrums.

Marielle was sort of mad that they are featured so prominently in this video. I am not to put them in the center again. Oh well.

The Context

Hey Zoe,

I thought that you'd appreciate some kind of record of how the dogs were doing while you were gone. I figured that I'd write down how they did every day and give you the account upon your return. But Marielle, being the nerd that they are, suggested that I write a blog instead. That way you could keep up while you are away and maybe relax a bit since you'd feel like you were in the loop. Marielle is pretty brilliant that way. But then! Then they took it to the next level and suggested that we do a video blog! Thus was born "The Basil & Streets Diary"
